Starting and exiting Outlook; using the Outlook interface, the Outlook Bar, the Outlook Today page, and the Folder List; displaying or hiding a toolbar

 

  • Using Outlook Messaging
  • Using Outlook's e-mail features; sending, receiving, replying to, and forwarding messages; changing mail folder views; opening a message in the Inbox folder; viewing sent messages; printing from the information viewer and from the Message window

     

  • Managing Messages
  • Saving a draft version of a message, flagging a message for follow up, navigating through open messages, changing the read status of and deleting a message, moving a message to a different folder, emptying the Deleted Items folder

     

  • Using the Address Book
  • Working with the Address Book; using the Address Book from the Outlook window and from the Message window; copying an address; selecting a different address book; creating, deleting, and finding an address book entry; viewing entry properties; setting the Address Book options

     

  • Scheduling with the Calendar
  • Opening and navigating the Calendar; scheduling a new appointment, an event, and a meeting; using AutoDate; responding to a meeting; checking meeting responses; adding a task to the TaskPad; editing, moving, and deleting Calendar items; setting a Calendar item as recurring; changing the Calendar view; printing Calendar information
